Four Day Intensive Flower Design 3 - 6th March

If you are looking to enhance your understanding and or experience of Floral Design then this intensive course is for you. It will give you the skills and knowledge needed to build on your creativity, improve your techniques, explore contemporary design and develop those all important business skills for those of you looking to either start your career in floral design or make the most of the business you already have.

At the end of the four days you will have the confidence to design flowers for events and commercial activities as well as for leisure and those special occasions.

Over the Four Days you will cover:

• Purchasing methods for flowers and sundries kick-starting you for the future events and contract work path. This will include a visit to the wholesale market and a session on costing and pricing a ‘live’ contract.
• Business skills for Floral Designers such as working as a freelance florist, promoting your business, customer relations, display techniques and taking on premises.
• Practical work in the studio will focus on floral design techniques, bouquets and hand tied bouquets, wedding work, hair pieces, table arrangements, sympathy work, parties and celebrations, structures, styling and photography. 

 You will receive a certificate of attendance upon completion of the course.
